Preparation, mixing and application

01

Surface preparation

  • Metal: remove oil, rust, scale and old organic coatings; abrasive blast to Sa 2.5 or power-tool clean local repairs to St 3.
  • Metal surface profile reference: 25–40 μm.
  • Non-metal: remove coke, dust and loose material; repair damaged areas before coating.

Application

  • Stir the single-component paste thoroughly before use.
  • Apply by brush, trowel, scraper or texture-spray method.
  • Build the specified thickness in multiple coats; allow each coat to dry before the next.
  • Clean tools with water.
